Matthew Ross

From Johnstown, PA, Matthew Ross began playing the viola at age 10. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the Pennsylvania State University. Recently, he graduated with his Master’s of Music from the Cleveland Institute of Music. His primary teachers have included Jeffrey Irvine and. Dr. Timothy Deighton.

Matthew has previously attended the National Repertory Orchestra, Round Top Festival Institute, and Penns’ Woods Summer Music. When not playing the viola he enjoys reading and getting in a good laugh with friends.
