Performer Biography

Gabriela Linares

Mezzo-soprano, Gabriela Linares is a current senior at Oberlin Conservatory under the tutelage of Marlene Rosen. In addition, she has also studied with the amazing Kimberly Randall Sounders, Ana L. Rosario and Diana Alvarado.

In her home country Puerto Rico, she performed various solo concerts with Puerto Rico’s Symphonic Orchestra, as well as in the Turandot’s chorus. She has also performed as a soloist at the Millennium Stage at the Kennedy Center, was part of the Le Nozze di Figaro’s chorus at Oberlin Conservatory, Angel’s Bone chorus member and soloist, performed the role of Dinah from Trouble in Tahiti and the role of Mere Merie from Dialogues of the Carmelites at Oberlin Conservatory.

Gabriela aspires to become a professional singer  and share the beauty of music with the world.
