Biography: Verditas Quartet

Founded in 2012, the Verditas Quartet has already embraced a varied repertoire ranging from the classical works of Haydn, Beethoven and Schubert to the 20th century works of composers such as Ginastera. Albeniz and Villa-Lobos. The quartet has also ventured into the world of celebrated tango composers, Carlos Gardel, Angel Villoldo and Jacob Gade. The Verditas Quartet is comprised by founding members Jeffrey Zehngut, violin, Amber Dimoff, viola, and Daniel Pereira, cello. Violinist, Yun-Ting Lee, joined the group in 2013. Mr. Zehngut and Mr. Lee are graduates of CIM and members of The Cleveland Orchestra. Ms. Dimoff is a graduate of Northwestern University and violinist with the Akron Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Pereira is a graduate of University of Southern California and member of the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra. The Verditas Quartet has been a frequent guest of The Chamber Music Guild of Lyndhurst, OH, has performed at Nighttown, and will be appearing on the Aha! Shaker Arts Council series in May 2015.
