Biography: Chloé Thominet, viola

After succesfully completing her musical education at the Conservatoire á Rayonnement Régionale de Cergy-Pontoise in France, Chloé then attended the Young Artist Program at the Cleveland Institute of Music where she is now continuing her musical education  with Jeffrey Irvine.

In January 2013 Chloé performed with The Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra in Severance Hall. In 2011, as one of the winners of the Naples Youth Orchestra concerto competition, she performed with the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra. She was also the recipient of the 2011 Jillian Prescott Young Artist Competition Award and soloed with the Southwest Florida Symphony. She was a semi-finalist at the National Young Violists Competition 2009, in France.

Chloé attended several summer festivals, both in France and in the United States, including the Aspen Music Festival, the Perlman Music Program,  Heifetz International Music Institute, Les Rencontres Musicales d’Arcachon and the Académie Internationale de Musique de Flaine.
